I love tapirs, I don't personally find them ugly, but I know people who are really put off by the (adorable) nose.

Their nose, which some people call a trunk but is really an elongated upper lip, some I forget all the time, is one of the main reasons I like tapirs so much.

This is great group! The art in here is wonderful. Unfortunately, I do not have anything to contribute, although there is a slight chance that I might work in Malaysia, the year after next for a full 12 months. If that ever happens, I will definately bring my camera and try to get some snaps of wild tapirs to contribute :D
